Brush Fires Break Out In Agua Dulce, Acton
LANCASTER, Calif. (CBS) ―
- A brush fire has scorched at least 30 acres in Agua Dulce.

Two brush fires broke out Thursday on both sides of he Antelope Valley (14) Freeway in Agua Dulce and Acton, forcing the evacuation of a nearby fire camp.
The fires were reported just before 3 p.m.
The fire in Agua Dulce, named the "Crown Fire" is burning north of Sierra
Highway at Anthony Road.
The other fire, called the "Camp Fire," is burning south of the 14 near Soledad Canyon Road, Los Angeles
County Fire Inspector Sam Padilla said.
The Camp Fire had grown to about 30 acres and is threatening fire camp 11, Padilla said.
The Crown Fire, burning near Sierra Highway, has scorched more than 60 acres and is almost fully contained.
No major structures were immediately threatened and no injuries were reported.
Earlier today, firefighters doused another brush fire in the Lancaster area.
